Hi everyone!

 

I am a noob on this wonderful board - my name is Sheila and my Fiancee Zeke and I plan to get married at the Dreams Puerto Vallarta on June 9, 2011. We don't have the date officially reserved yet (I just got the contract today), but was told that it would be held for us. :) I had originally wanted June 10th (our anniversary) but it was taken.

 

I am kind of a nervous wreck - I have never planned anything this big before and am kind of at the point where I am just sitting on my couch, dumbfounded as to where to begin.... :( We are having a small wedding (only 20-25 guests) so I hope that it won't get too complicated...

 

I look forward to spending a lot of time on this site - for ideas and for support! :)

So glad you joined.  You will find so much info on this site so don't worry.  Before you know it you will be a pro and DIY projects, know what websites to go to for great decorations, silk flowers, OOT bags and invitations and so much more.  This board has so much great info and reviews.  Have fun planning!!!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
