Reception Decor for Aventura Cove Palace

Recommended Posts

Hey ladies-

I just booked my wedding for June 11, 2011 at Aventura cove Palace.  I am worried about the reception decor and was wondering if anyone has been married there and has any good ideas on what they did?  Or if anyone is planning on getting married there  and has any ideas?  I know that we can't ship anything to the resort so that is a bummer.  I guess we will have to bring everything on the plane with us.

I booked the Amethyst Rose collection and I am thinking of having my girls in black dresses with a purple or pink shoe and their bouquets will tie in the colors.

We are expecting around 100 people and are thinking that the Mundaca terrace is our best option, any thoughts?  I also want to hire a DJ for the reception.  Has anyone done that?

Thanks ladies!!!

Alisa

I'm looking at the same. I was going to get table runners and anything easily packable that I could bring with. I read somewhere on this site that there are walmarts around, so you could feasibly get small items like tea candles and votives there and use them at the resort. You'll have to get creative, but if it can be packed flat then its an option! :D

Hello,

I was just reading your post and I'm about to book my wedding with them for next spring.  Do you have any pointers from what you've learned so far by planning your wedding?

Your big day is coming soon, I wish you all the best!

Tammy

we've booked but you really dont do any of the actual planning until 90 days prior. Right now I'm working on the photographer situation and just sent out save the dates. I'll post pics as soon as we have more info to begin planning the decor. I was toying with the idea of finding a florist in the area and having them deliver flowers. The resort will do them but at a ridiculous price! Anyone else have ideas or experience?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
