So I have been going back and forth about what kind of invites I should do.  I really felt because I was doing boarding pass tickets for my STDs then I had to the passports as my invites. So, first I decided not to be bothered and farm out the job, but then I thought to myself that I could do it myself - that was a mess!  Then I found a wonderful post on the blog Weddingbee from one of the Bees who was having the exact dilemma as I was.  She had sent out Boarding Passes and wanted to do something a bit different for her formal invites. Taking her advice into mind, I have finally  found my invites. This Sunday, I did the first mock-ups with cream cardstock.  I wont post those as yet because I want the card stock doesn't do justice to the invites. So here's my inspiration. I found it on Weddingbee.  If anyone wants the instructions on how to make the pocket folds, just follow the link. Her instructions are so simple, clear and easy, I got them on the first try.  I am going to get them letterpressed and have a different design other than the flowers (something beachy or travel themed that is on my other paper items).  I got a good lead on letterpress from one of my fellow DW members (sorry I can't remember your name), but her friend has been great to work with.  I will definitely let you ladies know how the lettepress turns out.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
