Marlin Fishing??

matt did it through the conciere at Dream once we got there- it was pretty pricey- i will have to ask him for exact costs but i wanna say $200-$300/person- but that was because they had a 12 person boat and then some people cancelled and others have to cover their costs.

my point is- i thought we HAD to schedule it all before hand and its really not terribly necessary- you can do it once you get there- they have a million fishing vendors who are most likely available

Ricky did it through Riu it was 1000 for a 10 person boat. Depending on how many are going you are better to do it when you get there. There are tons of venders at the Marina and along the beach. If you need a 10+ person boat it may be a bit harder and may want to reserve before hand. To be honest Ricky found it really boaring. Its a long hot day if you have no bites. Alot of them got sea sick b/c the water is choppy. The day of the wedding him and a couple GM just went regular fishing in a small boat around the arch and they caught a shark and about 10 huge fish. Needless to say it was waaayyy cheaper and they had so much fun! Hope this helps!

Jessica,

How did this go for you? I know Aaron really wants to go fishing with some of the guys...

As some of you know I live here in Los Cabos. Hands down I would recommend Pisces Sport Fishing. They practice catch and release (if requested) and they are a first class operation. Good boats and Captains. Remember to catch and keep only what you need or will eat. Ask for Nancy when you phone. Here is the link.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
