Hi Sne,

A good place to start is to reach out to Rachel Durbin at Kerzner (O&O's Parent Company).  She will help to pull together available dates and group rates for you and then assign you to a wedding planner at O&O.  We worked with Avani as a wedding planner and she was awesome! Her email is Rachel.Durbin@kerzner.com.

While I wouldn't call O&O affordable, we did save some money by hosting our wedding in the low season during October.  Our guests received really great group rates as well.  The weather was gorgeous the entire week.  It got a little windy at times, but it didn't interfere with anything.

One thing I will tell you about O&O is that you will feel like a celebrity bride.  They have outstanding customer service and go out of their way to accommodate the bride and groom.  It was amazing!  Truly worth the expense.

I know that One and Only can be a kind of expensive for you and your guests. Another suggestion to try and save costs is to stay at another resort close by like Atlantis or RIU and just to you ceremony there. I think the only down side to that is that you can't have a reception there.

Good brides . I am currently searching for some advise . I want to have a destination wedding in bahamas we don't have a location yet but we are thinking of the Sheraton, WC resort crystal , and or the O&O cloister . We really don't want a beach wedding but something like a mice monument or garden or gazebo . We want to have a reception indoor with an ocean view side. Now we have a guest list of 150 . I really want an all inclusive hotel for my guest

Thanks for the info! I actually contacted a sales rep at O&O, myself, and was advised of same... no need to hire a WC. I've written her back with a few questions, and am just awaiting a reply. Have you booked your date yet? I am curious to know how the time restraints work, as they state that all music and entertainment must end at 10:30 p.m. - does that mean the party/wedding ends there? This venue just seems to be the most beautiful in my opinion - my only issue at this point is  budget.... I don't want to go overboard. Please keep me posted as to your plans. I am very curious!! Good luck, and all the best!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
