To wear, or not to wear....

A necklace with my dress???

Please give me your honest opinions. I am wearing a bracelet and small earrings, but i wasnt going to bother with a necklace because there is alot of detail at the top of my dress. Its only since my mum said to me so what necklace are you wearing, that ive thought oh maybe i should wear one. Now im just confused and cant make a decision. If im honest i dont think i have the money for a necklace now as i have less than 2 weeks to go, but if i do need one i will find money from my savings.

Please help me to decide!

I also dont think you need it.  You have a beautiful neck! :)

My advice would be to buy a necklace if you are nervous about not having one and then RETURN it if you decide not to use it the day of the wedding.  Once you see yourself done up (and get your BM's opinions), you may feel more comfortable leaving it out.  But I understand not want to have that nagging feeling inside in the meantime...

I wouldn't wear a necklace if I were you.  Do you normally wear a lot of jewelry?  Imagine looking at your wedding pictures...are you likely to think that everything looks a bit too busy?  I think it is better to error on the side of simplicity compared to "busy".

I don't plan on wearing one and my dress does not have any of the detailing around the top.  But I normally do not wear earrings and a necklace and I think I will look at my pictures and not feel like they are "me".  Good luck - your dress is beautiful and I am sure it will look wonderful whichever way you decide to go.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
