    Rene said she would let me know ASAP when I get assigned someone new, it's been a few days and nothing so I'm not sure how long that will take.

        Christine with Destination Weddings which is my TA is who told me. MIGUELINA MARTINEZ is who I am now assigned to and I am not a very happy camper right now. I am sure everyone is pissed. I am glad I got info from her that was much needed. They are asking me to fwd all emails so it's ridiculous. Did she give you any advice that would save you money?? I know her son just got married there so she was trying to tell me a few different things how to save money.. I really wonder why she got fired?

          Yeah, I've been pretty upset all week.  At least you got someone new assigned to you, I'm still waiting.... Rene is not great on being prompt on things, I am jealous of you having Christine, she sounds great!

              Ladies I have been assigned to Lauren and will be working with Miguelina at the resort. Lauren did mention you have the option of booking directly with the resort or going through her (Paradisus Romance). Did anyone book directly through the resort? I guess I am not understanding what the pros and cons are for either? Is it a price difference?

                I'm new to this forum and is looking to book PPC or PPR. I'm helping my cousin plan her wedding and since I had a great time planning mine I thought it would be fun! So  I called and spoke with Simone. She doesn't seem that nice...lol...

                 

                But anyway, I JUST started calling hotels in DR for pricing and I don't understand what exactly the "Aqua and Chill out" package is from 3k-5k for only 24 people!! Our count is about 50 ppl and thats almost 10k ......I guess I was under the impression that if you are in an All inclusive hotel, food and drinks should already be included...lol....boy was I wrong :(

                 

                I guess there is a lot for me to learn here.

                  Weird I thought Miguelina was at the resort also so why did they assign me to her?? I haven't heard great things about Lauren so I hope she does a good job for you. I just want someone as great at Teresa and seems like Miguelina is doing great so far so lets hope it stays that way!! 

                   

                  As for booking, are you talking wedding or rooms?

                    I'm getting married at the Paradisus on January 12, 2012. I just got an email today from a Marilyn Caro telling me I've been reassigned with Lauren also. All emails and files are supposed to be forwarded on for me. I was worried too! I just had my planning call with Teresa a couple of weeks ago and she was great! Lauren is supposed to call me now to re-cap the whole planning call sometime soon. Hopefully everything works out okay for everyone!

                      Hey we are getting married at PPC on dec 3, 2011.... we just had our planning call today.  I am totally devastated that Teresa no longer works for Paradisus!!! She was great, very easy to talk to, and very prompt and thorough with any concerns I had.  Our file has been transferred to Miami and well, the wedding planner there didnt know a thing about our wedding. She had all the wrong information, even had the wrong file open, not even my name!!!  I must say I am worried at this point, our wedding is just over a month away, and I am upset there had to be a staff change right in the middle of confirming everything.
