Paradisus Punta Cana (PPC) Brides POST HERE!!

Hey luv,

It's to my understanding that only guests booked on the reserve can use the amenities in the Reserve section. But Reserve guests can use any part of the hotel they choose. I made sure all my guests booked in the Reserve so there wouldn't be any issues.   Hope that helps!

Can anyone confirm if the kids pool with the slides is exclusively for guests staying at the reserve or can children staying at the main resort also use it?

Also, is the bar with the sheep looking seats in the main resort or the reserve?

Thank you!

Hi ladies!

I haven't been on here for awhile. I was just wondering if anyone of you brides has recently visited the resort or recently married there! I hear there has been quite a bit of remodeling and i would love to see pictures!!

I am getting married October 26, 2013 and it is quickly approaching:)  Lots to do before then!  We are getting married in the gazebo with a poolside reception.

We were originally planning to have a welcome/rehearsal dinner on the beach before hand but my wedding planner has suggested that we just utilize Gabi club for our dinner and reserve 2 tables.  We currently have 38 guests.  I am not sure what would be the best option for a welcome dinner and open to suggestions!

We want to have a little itinerary for people and are considering organizing something the day after our wedding.  We were tossing around an excursion idea, brunch or catamaran.   OR should we do the catamaran the day before.  Uggghhh so much to finish planning!

Also, what are your grooms/groomsman wearing?? We want something comfortable but not too casual as I will be all dolled up:)  We want to make our bridesmaid dresses and groomsman attire affordable.  Are any of you ladies renting outfits for your men or purchasing.

I know i am all over the place with my questions but I feel so overwhelmed.

SUGGESTIONS and PICTURES please you lovely brides!

Hey everyone! I'm so glad I found this site as I am getting married at Paradisus in Punta Cana on Jan 18th 2014! I am in the process of trying to figure out where I would like my rehearsal dinner to be, but I am having trouble finding pictures of the venues. My planner said the romance foyer, convention terrace and ballroom are available...I'm having my reception in the ballroom so I'm interested in comparing the other two locations. Does anyone have pictures of the venues? Or is anyone ale to direct me to where I can find pictures of the venues? Also I would love I put from a bride who already had their wedding at PPC! Thank you!!! Ashley

Hello everyone! My name is Ashley and I am getting married at PPC on January 18th 2014! I am trying to narrow down where I would like my rehearsal to be, my planner said the romance foyer and convention terrace are available. I am unfortunately having trouble though finding pictures of the venues so I can compare and choose. Does anyone know where online to find pictures of the venues, or does anyone have pics they could post for me? Thanks so much! Ashley

"Hi! I just saw this; and how exciting that we are getting married one day apart! How is all of your planning going? I feel like I am at a bit of a standstill, because I need an accurate headcount to complete the rest of my planning. Speaking of, when are you planning on sending your invitations? I have been going back and forth on picking the best timeframe.... "

I am planning on sending save the dates by august. Invitations by october to the confirmed guests only. I still have soooo much to do! Favors and personal touches! Ive been on pinterest a lot lately and i feel that I have all my ideas in mind and on paper. Now the creating begins!

I am just curious as to if any of you are using an outside florist?

I have confirmed with the resort that I am able to use the flowers of a local florist (much cheaper), but I have to go pick them up to avoid the vendor fee!

Has anyone used FLORISTERIA SISAY (Sisay Flowers)?

Any recommendations?

Thanks so much everyone! :)

Please let me know how this works out for you! Thinking about doing the same!

Hi 1Pris,

I have opted not to go with the outside florist for our centrepieces and what not. There prices were much better and they have great customer service. I have decided to just rent the glass vases for candle holders as they are only charging me $5USD/table.

I think you should look into it. I was really impressed by Pedro who works at Floristeria Sisay!

Good luck!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
