Thanks to Tisha and you for your responses. Arrecife didn't email me pricing for "bundled" photo/video packages...they sent me pricing for photography and separate pricing for videography. It all seems a little too pricey for what we get but I don't have patience to research better options available (including the $1000 outside vendor fee)

I'm wondering if either of you or anyone else has done the leg work and come across a better deal?

Thanks again,

Jenn

That's too bad they didn't send you that package with photography and videography together!

I have really enjoyed working with Taimir with Arrecife, and didn't research other vendors (mainly due to the outside fee).

Why don't you see if they can send you a copy of their price listing. It's in a PDF and shows the photography packages, videography packages, combined packaged, and trash the dress shoot costs!

Hope it all works out! Let me know if you have any other questions!

What locations are you ladies having your ceremonies and receptions at? And who is your WC? I can't wait to get my date set in stone so I can make some decisions!

Congratulations! Hope you get that date confirmed :)
We are having a Welcome Cocktail Party on the Nova Terrace. Our ceremony is at sunset (5pm) on the beach with cocktails to follow on the beach. We then chose to have our reception poolside because we wanted to be outside, but if you do it on the beach, you have to pay to have lighting and the recommend paying to have a dancefloor! The pictures of receptions on the beach look amazing though!!
Good luck with everything!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
