Hi all!

Hope all is well with everyone and their wedding planning! My fiancé and I are putting together our OOT bags for guests and want to include information/pamphlets/brochures about what activities there to do at the resort and around Punta Cana. Does anyone have any feedback as to what activities are most enjoyable, can accommodate large groups, and what the price ranges are? I am trying to set up an itinerary for our weekend so ANY feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

I just dropped $2000 to pay off my rooms so I'm like bent backwards! LOL. As for the flight...I'm just being a tad more patient....Just a tad! LOL.

Does anyone have any information on such a thing!? We just wanted to be extra special and kind of a thank you to our guests!:)

I opted to do dinner at the Gabi for my guests. There is so much going on in the hotel...I didn't want to pay for anything else. I'm also have a few hours of free cocktails hours so I figured I would do something with that before dinner. I was considering the Cruise...but I haven't looked at what it may cost...and I'm coming down to the wire. I have a call with my planner in a few weeks to close my books - so I can run it past her then. But I tapped out! LOL.

Just to let you know... if you wait until you get there and go through the restaurant booking in the lobby, you can arrange a reservation for your rehearsal dinner without an extra charge. They give you a set menu with a couple of entree choices and block off a section of the restaurant if there is space. My daughter's wedding was in January 2012 and the resort was full, but we did a seafood dinner in Luna on Thursday and a rehearsal dinner at Terra (steak) on Friday, and the wedding was Saturday.  We had 37 people total and no extra charges.

Whatever you do it will be fantastic because they do such a great job!

That's awesome to hear! I really don't want to incur any additional charges. LOL. Will they give me a list roomings for my guests so I can let them know where dinner will be if I do something when I get to the hotel? I would have to find a way to let all my guest know! LOL.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
