Paradisus Punta Cana (PPC) Brides POST HERE!!

Recommended Posts

Hi Katie! I'm getting marriend on October 12. We aren't that far from one another I see. I'm using the Gazebo for the weeding and then the Garden for the Coctail Hour. We are then using the ballroom for the Reception. I have about 50 guests. Yes they have remodled!!! My planner sent me the most beautiful pics. I'm at work, but I will post some late tonight. She said it doesn't even look like the same hotel. As for the suites...I don't want them to dress any different then if we had a wedding here in Atlanta. We just have a beautiful location and background for pics! LOL. I figure at the reception, Jackets come off anyway. I really dont want the beach, flip flop thing going on. Yes!! the date is quickly approaching and i feel that there is never enough time...ALREADY! My planner is AWESOME though. She does just about everything I need her to do and she has made this process simple amazing. Lets continue to chat Katie!

I am getting married October 26, 2013 and it is quickly approaching:)  Lots to do before then!  We are getting married in the gazebo with a poolside reception.

We were originally planning to have a welcome/rehearsal dinner on the beach before hand but my wedding planner has suggested that we just utilize Gabi club for our dinner and reserve 2 tables.  We currently have 38 guests.  I am not sure what would be the best option for a welcome dinner and open to suggestions!

We want to have a little itinerary for people and are considering organizing something the day after our wedding.  We were tossing around an excursion idea, brunch or catamaran.   OR should we do the catamaran the day before.  Uggghhh so much to finish planning!

Also, what are your grooms/groomsman wearing?? We want something comfortable but not too casual as I will be all dolled up:)  We want to make our bridesmaid dresses and groomsman attire affordable.  Are any of you ladies renting outfits for your men or purchasing.

I know i am all over the place with my questions but I feel so overwhelmed.

SUGGESTIONS and PICTURES please you lovely brides!

Hi ladies, I've decided to have my wedding on March 2015 but I'm not sure where to start will the whole process. I received all the information from Lauren at Paradius prices and all.. Thinking about going with the aqua package. Just have a few question hope you ladies can help: 1. I'm confused on how this works ~ I see different sites like wedding destination that help with the planning not sure whether to go with them if anyone has used them? Or go with the lady I called whose name is Lauren and she gave me all the info for Paradius. How did you ladies start this process?? 2. For guest did you block rooms for them or did you just let them know when & where and they booked their own trip? Or did you go with a travel agency? So far that's what comes to mind as per questions but hope someone can help me! Thanks

I have opted not to go with the outside florist for our centrepieces and what not. There prices were much better and they have great customer service. I have decided to just rent the glass vases for candle holders as they are only charging me $5USD/table.

I think you should look into it. I was really impressed by Pedro who works at Floristeria Sisay!

Good luck!

You have opted to go with or not to go with? haha

How do I contact them and how can I see what they have to offer?

thanks a bunch! It makes sense to go with an outside florist if their prices are much better.

She informed me that kids are half price to add on to a package (we are doing Aqua as our base with add-ons as we go). She will make sure that the KIDS are reported as my extras over 24, rather than the adults. I don't think the PPC planners would do this b/c it would be less money earned for them. this savings alone already paid for her fee! :)

I've had so many questions throughout the process (our wedding is July of 2013), and Theresa is super quick to respond. We schedule calls to plan each part of our wedding (color palette, ceremony, flowers, cocktail, rehearsal beach BBQ--one of our add-ons, and reception). She planned her son's wedding there last fall, so she really knows the ins and outs of the resort.

I'm happy to share money-saving tips as I get them. Good luck with your planning! :)

How was your July wedding? Any suggestions or advice is greatly appreciated! thanks!

Hello All, I am leaning towards the PPC for my June 2014 nupitals and I am so confused on this entire process. And its so many pages I cant read them all. My guest count is high and im looking at trimming the fat quickly due to the small number of attendees in the packages & the price per person after that. My finace (soon to be husband on 7/21) would have a heat attack if i went to much outside the budget. We decided on a DW because we figured it was much cheaper but I dont know if thats the case now. This is all so much. I thought this would be so much easier but its not. Someone tell me its going to be ok

I have opted NOT to go with them lol!

Look them up online, but the email address I have is for Pedro: pmorell@sisayonline.com

I was really impressed with him!

Definitely makes sense to go with them.

He even offered to pick us up, go get the flowers, and drop us back off as their shop is only 15 minutes away from the PPC.

This way you avoid the vendor fee :)

Good luck!

Heya Christy... I went with a block of 10 rooms to start. And raised it if more people needed it. Your locked into a contract so you have to be careful not to be responsible for the money if you can't commit to all 10 within a certain amount of time - and there are ways around it.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
