Paradisus Punta Cana (PPC) Brides POST HERE!!

Recommended Posts

If you search for threads that I started, you should find my review. It's from 2008 but has some advice on the 'surprise' charges that should still be useful. Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk

They can accomodate this but anything outside of their standards, they will charge you for. Contact your WC and send her a pic with what you are thinking of and they will quote you

Thanks - good to know.  I have my planning call this Friday so I will bring that to my WC attention.  I am still indecisive on which package i'm going to select.  I'm definitely having a beach ceremony - cocktail hour at the gazebo - still debating on reception details... will keep ya'll posted :-)

PS: apologies for sending 2010 calculator - i made my deposit in 2010 so PPC will have to honor 2010 prices.   The chill-out chic 2011 seems like the a good package -depending on how many guest will attend. So far my count is 29 booked with B&G! :-)

Only 2 weeks left till we leave for Punta Cana!!  I am so excited!!  Everything is falling into place and I am not stressed out at all.  The only thing that I am a bit concerned about is that the coordinators have not set up a phone consult for me and haven't really said anything since I sent the planning guide.  Anyone else had this happen?

April 15, 2012 !

I'm soo excited! I spoke with the WC Teresa on the phone the other day and she's AWESOME! I can't wait to plan the wedding with her. And I've received the quote with our fabulous travel agent as well, for an incredible price. It's all happening!

We'll be staying at the Paradisus Punta Cana with our guests for the first week and then we're moving over to the Paradisus Palma Real for our honeymoon!

Hey all!

I wanted to let everyone know that I'll be leaving in 8 days for the DR!  We are staying at the PPC but getting married at the Jellyfish Restaurant.  I will be sure to let everyone know about our experience.  I'm hoping that the food isn't as bad as all the reviews are sayingconfused.gif  I think once we actually get down there, I won't be worrying about a thing!

Cheers!

That is amazingly exciting...i cant wait to be saying that i'm leaving in a about a week WOOHOOO...cant wait to hear your review. I have been to PPC and picked it for our wedding because everything was amazing. We had no issues with the food or anything,. Some people are overly picky and forget they are in the Dominican at a resort and not at home! Granted i was there in 2009 but i doubt it has changed that much, but hey i guess we shall soon find out with your upcoming trip :) good luck with everything!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
