I am getting married in St Thomas in February and it is about time to book the rest of the vendors:) I will have a reception in the villa and the wedding on the beach. I decided to skip the wedding planners but now I am stuck. Would like to ask if anyone can suggest the company that will rent tables and chairs for the villa and arch and chairs for the ceremony? Also I am looking for some good catering company that could provide the hot buffet. Looking forward to hear some suggestions.

Ok, I have finally contacted few companies and decided to go with Janelle Scott from Island Bliss Weddings. It work pretty good and not too expensive. The arch, 20 chairs (with covers), 3 tables rental, set-up and delivery fees came up to around $600. That is pretty good price and so far I am happy with the service. Now it's time to start looking for caterer:)

Ohh I hope Janelle recommended Passion Fruit for your caterer :)  That is who we used through Janelle and I cannot say ENOUGH good things about them. It was, hands down, the best part of the wedding and reception.  The food was amazing, the presentation was impeccable and the service was top-notch, but it still somehow gave me the laid back atmosphere I really wanted for my reception.  Good luck!

@@butterflyaniam Can you post pics of your wedding at the villa? Did you stay there as well or just host your reception at the location?


@@Tonir Where was your wedding location? Can you possibly post photos? I am getting married in St John in May, staying in St Thomas at the Marriott... but I still dont have a reception location for an intimate dinner!! ahh!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
