Is it too late to join in?  If not here goes and if so sorry :(

 

The Hunger Games, I really was surprised with how much I liked this trilogy.  I was even more surprised with how strong it was for a teen audience.  These were not light reads and there were some pretty heavy choices to be made.  However, I think it did show that kids are more aware of the issues than adults may think they are. 

 

And THE KITE RUNNER was a beautiful book as well, I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did and I look forward to what you all think about it.

Ok girls. My computer is back!! So the next book is CSandCK's book suggestion.

I have never never read this and don't know much about it. Since we are off schedule a little. Today is our new start date. We will discuss on March 25th. Happy Reading girls!!

Hi guys...I've been abscent due to health issues, but excited for a new book. Also, CSandCK- I just got done reading a book that they say is the adult version of a cross between Twilight and Harry Potter- A Discovery of Witches. I've never ready Twilight or Harry Potter, but I enjoyed  "Witches" a lot!

Hope you are feeling/doing much better now Tricia!  Thanks for the recommendation on "A Discovery of Witches", I'll probably check that book out next.  I've never read Harry Potter, but will admit to being a big fan of all the vampire books. :)

OH girls. I feel bad for the last two books. I had a death in the family and a lot of stress. I forgot about the book totally. So two days ago I got it and rushed through. CSandCK THANK YOU SO MUCH for this book recommendation. I have seen it tons of times in the book store but thought it would be horrible. I'm addicted! I read the first 2 in less than 2 days and I just started number three. When you said Harry Potter meets Twilight I had serious doubts. But that's exactly what this is. I love these more than I loved Twilight. Book two made me sob like a child!! I definitely recommend this book!

 

Now let's discuss! Did anyone else enjoy this as much as me????

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
