Crystal - I did read somewhere about people having trouble with the Nook in Canada. But it might have been more of actually buying it. But then again, you don't know what version of the nook people are talking about & sometimes you can't tell if it was  5 yrs ago or 5 days ago!

Yes.  I have been reading some conflicting things about the Nook in Canada.  May have to wait a bit for that one!

I have the sony and it's great for me because I download all my books on the computer so I don't want a Kindle with it's wifi, keyboard or touch screen.

I tell people the sony is like an iPod. You download and sync. Easy peasy! The only reason I didn't do wi-fi before is because we only have verizon towers. Boo. But we are getting more service here and the Nook has wi-fi, so I'm thinking of switching!

Ok, so we'll pick the book for next month so that people have time to order or reserve their book.  The deadline for finishing the first book is October 12.

Ordered my nook this morning! I'm so excited. 2-6 days for shipping. I also ordered a back in grass green! Woohoo! Now I have to think of a name. You can "name" your nook.  But it seems like everyone names their "nookie". Gotta be more original. Hmmm..

My amazon order arrived today & I can't wait to get started on the book!! I've even decided to put a halt to reading the book I am currently reading! You girls have me soooo intrigued! I love this!!
