Hey TessaB lol

I've done a couple things a head of time. I booked a spa schedule as they told me their appointments fill up fast. You can email them at [email protected]. I've been talking with Paula and she is very helpful.

I sent Micheal the photographer an email just requesting the price list, so I know how much money to go with. You can email him at [email protected]

I've also been talking with Keisha in regards to reserving the Maumee Bay Steakhouse for dinner and the Seagrapes for a private reception. With all the confusion with the wedding coordinators, nothing ever got done with my requests, but Keisha has been great and has taken care of everything and really put my nurves at ease.

That's all I've done and am going to do. Everything else will sort out when we arrive. I'm not taking any extra decorations or anything as that's to much work and we're getting married in Jamaica, the scenery is enough decoration for me! lol. As I have found this forum to be helpful, I have also found it to increase my stress. I really have stopped searching for random information or reading reviews. I was starting to worry about things that don't even matter. I'm just excited to get married and could care less about all the little details that in the end don't matter.

How is your planning going?

Hi. I am getting Married in July 2012. I too have found that i get stressed out about reading to many reviews on here and trip advisor. I sent an email to keisha and i am very confused. I asked about a wedding on the beach and reception on the beach and she said no but then i got an email from the manager? .. and it said yes that was available. I am so confused. She also said that she had my date confirmed and I never turned in the request so i was confused about that. I sent her an email and never got a response. I like you do not want this to be a stressful event, I wanted a destination wedding so it would be relaxing and beautiful.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
