Welcome Christina!! I am a 2011 Cancun Bride myself! =) We did a site inspection trip this past summer and it was my 9th trip to Cancun as well. We looked at several different site/resorts for the wedding but not Moon Palace. We looked at Cancun Palace, Beach Palace, Gran Caribe Real, and The Royal in Cancun. We decided to go with The Royal! It was AMAZING!!! It has a great location in Cancun and the food was good, the hotel services were great-friendly, etc. The Royal is an adults only resort which posed a problem for me because we do have guests coming that will have little ones but the sister hotel which is Gran Caribe Real is right next door so your guests can stat at The Royal OR at Gran Caribe Real and they are all considered to be staying at one place when it comes to attending your wedding. Some resorts charge a fee for those attending your wedding who are not staying at your hotel-to attend but with the two hotels being sister hotels it works out perfect!

Every single room in The Royal has an ocean view and upon arrival they ask you which type of pillows you would like, which type of aroma therapy scent you would like in your room, you have 24/7 room service included in your all inclusive and they have spa, gym, etc! It is wonderful! Good luck with your search! Let me know if you have any other questions! =) My email is Emilysmiths@aol.com

Hello and Welcome!

If you really want to see hundreds of amazing photos of the Moon Palace Check out the Del Sol Wiki on this site located here --> http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/wiki/del-sol-photography-slideshows-riviera-maya

They have 6 slideshows from different weddings at your resort. It will really help you pick out a great location for your wedding, plus help out with decor.

I am getting married at a different Palace Resort, Aventura Cove and Spa. on February 18, 2011. Del Sol is photographing my wedding. They are AMAZING! The best. They also have another business called La Luna if you are looking for the same amazing look at a ecomical price.

Anyways! I have been dealing with Palace Resorts for the last 8months. Let me know if you have any questions!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
