TechoQueen- have you ever thought about Jamaica?! I'm getting married at the Ibeorstar Grand in Montego Bay, and all the brides on here HIGHLY recommend it!

Good luck on your decision making, it's the hardest thing in the wedding process! Good luck and congrats on your engagement

It was actually my fiance that found this site and told me to check out, as I think I am going to need all the help I can get with such a short time frame.

This is what I have done and know so far....

    • I have contacted and received the wedding package information for the Grand Riviera Princess and the Grand Sunset Princess.  I was ready to pull the trigger and book our date, when I started reading some bad reviews with regards to weddings here on Trip Advisor.com.  Now I am a bit worried....information and advice on these two resorts would be greatly appreciated.

    • I have also become interested in the Riu Palace Riviera Maya, but have yet to contact them for information.  Advice or reviews on this resort would be welcomed also.

    • No matter where we end up, we will be having a symbolic ceremony as we are going to marry here at home (or in Vegas) before we head to Mexico.

I am confident that we will have the wedding of our dreams and I believe that this site can help us with that.

Thank you so very much for existing!

      Hey JR14,

I just sent off an inquiry to Weddings By The Ocean!  I like the fact that they offer their services for free.  I thank you for the recommendation.

If you're still looking around, I highly recommend Weddings by Oceans - a travel company specializing in destination weddings.  They can not only help you decide on a location, but help coordinate your guests travel arrangements FREE of charge.  (link: www.weddingsbyoceans.com)

I'm using them and they've been wonderful! :)
      GOOD LUCK!

I've talked to Weddings By Oceans too. They're great!! Our decision is still ours so as much as they were helpful, we still don't have a final "that's what we want", but they have loads of great information. And if anyone is looking at Mayan Riviera they have deals with some beautiful hotels there..... Azul, Karisma, like  the bride & groom free, free upgrades, etc. I'm with JR14 - definitely check them out. And if you're in Toronto, they're at the bridal show that's on this weekend in Mississauga at the International Centre then at the Metro Convention Centre downtown on Sep 25/26!!

I said "yes" again to the love of my life at Grand Coral Beach Club, Playa del Carmen, Mexico on our 4th anniversary - October 20, 2015

I would just like to comment that you should read the fine print carefully!  We Canadians don't always qualify for promos that the Americans do (no fair!!)  i am getting married at Azul Sensatori and the bride.groom stay free promo is only for the U.S, so be careful when you are choosing a place, get all the info first!  Good Luck!
