Exactly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been with my guy for almost 5 years and engaged for almost 2. So I have been looking at dresses for a long time and now that it's time to actually pick one I need to make sure after all this time it is just PERFECT. Good luck finding something and make sure when you do find the one to post it for us!!! I love looking at everyones gowns because it makes me realize my dress is out there somewhere!

YAY I finally found my dress!!! Like the others say, when you know you just know. As soon as I put my dress on I fell in love. I just felt so special and beautiful in it. I felt quite emotional aswel!

My wedding is in March 2011 and I ordered my dress a couple of days ago and it's due in for Feb 2011, so I left it as late as I could to buy the dress really. So a warning to those brides that are leaving it late, you need to make a decision around the 6 month mark to avoid disappointment.

It's a Cosmobella dress. I was originally only wanting to spend £600 including dress, veil and shoes. But my dress came to £755, my veil £145 and my shoes £185, so I've gone wayyyy over but I don't care.

Heres the dress but mines in Ivory, and to be honest the picture does the dress no justice at all!..

I love the dresses ladies. I found my dress in the first store I went to (Priscilla of Boston) it was the 7th dress I tried on. Actually I saw it as they were taking it out to the showroom and looked at the attendant and said "I don't want something like that", I want something very plain,no flowers, no embellishments, nothing. She snuck the dress into the fitting room and I didn't even notice. When it came to trying it on I was like "I don't remember picking this one", she just kind of shrugged, so I figured I must have picked it, it was in the room. As soon as she put the clips in the back my eyes were full of tears and when I walked out to show my friend she burst into tears. I visited 4 other bridal salons, tried on a total of about 15-20 more dresses but returned to POB two months later and bought my dress, cause I knew that dress was "the one".

That is AMAZING!! Haha some bridal consultants know NOTHING about what you want but you get lucky with people like that!! Wow, what if you had never tried it on? That's why I am trying on anything and everything even if I feel like I might hate it. Congrats on finding your dress! I love hearing the stories and seeing all the pictures :)

I definitely agree you should. I have a friend getting married in February and I have told her try on everything, even the things she doesn't think are her style. I would advise all brides to try on everything even the stuff you didn't think looks like you.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
