Hi and welcome to the board!!

Where in the south are you planning to have your wedding? I think there's plenty that you can do with that budget but what sort of wedding are you planning and how many guests?

The only real trouble I see is that you have picked the absolute busiest time of the year for French tourism. The month of August is the most expensive month of the year (it's when all of the French take their holidays) and by default it's incredibly difficult to find accommodations and vendors etc... that aren't charging top Euro for their time. Have you already set the date in stone?

Wow, I am so jealous of your location!

We desperately wanted to get married in France or Italy, but knew it would be impossible to stay within our budget.

I'm sure you will have a blast planning!!  Congratulations!!!

                Hi there

We were also planning on getting married in France too.  We were planning on using this company:

When they quoted me on pricing your budget would of fit in easily - especially since their packages include hair, make-up etc.

Have you looked into the legalities of it though?  I had my heart set on it, however, for it to be our legal wedding we would of needed to stay there for 55days.  So basically, unless you are going to stay there aroung the two month mark you need to do it legally elsewhere first.

Now, we are going to do a vagas wedding to make it legal, then renew our vows in Paris.

                Hope this site helps.

Also, if you intend on heading to Paris, I found this site which lets you rent apartments.  Depending on how long you are staying it is much cheaper than hotels:
