I guess I should share my info as well! We considered Bucuti - BEAUTIFUL resort!!! Only accommodates small weddings though (max of 50 guests) & a 5 night minimum stay for all guests. Here's the info I have:

Thank you for your inquiry and considering our resort for your wedding. We are honored.

Bucuti's "Dream Beach of the World" has been the location of hundreds of intimate weddings. As Bucuti Beach Resortâ€s official on-site Wedding Coordinator, I will be handling all wedding planning and execution for couples exclusively and will guide you through the entire process.

It is with great pleasure I send you the following information and look forward in helping produce your dream wedding

Here is some helpful information prior to your arrival:

Bucuti Beach Resort and Tara Beach Suites is a small boutique resort and due to our small size and limited facilities, we can handle a maximum of 50 persons for a wedding. Since we limit weddings to one per day, we only reserve wedding for our in-house couples. I will accompany you for the whole day on your special day!

When you have chosen a definite date for your wedding, I can secure it for you if it is still available. We do require a non-refundable deposit of $250, - to reserve this date for you as we will be turning down other requests.

Thank you for your interest in our Sapphire and Emerald packages. All our packages are based on 5 guests. We have a US$ 250, - Setup fee for 50 people. Setup is for ceremony/reception; including site, tables with linen, elegant white covered chairs, china, glassware and cutlery.

Your guests and their children are welcome to attend the ceremony and meals, without having to stay at our resort. Because we are a small, romantic getaway resort; we do not recommend our resort for families. Children are permitted; however we do not have any activities/facilities for kids.

Here are some additional information on decoration and entertainment for reception: Centerpieces is US$ 50, - per piece; made of real flowers. D.J. entertainment is US$ 195 per hour. Steel pan player is US$ 165 per hour. Flaming Torches are available at $5, - each.

If you would like to make a reservation directly with Bucuti, please go to: http://www.bucuti.com/en/reservation...ne_reserve.php

I am sending our Honeymoon package rates for 2008 by attachment.

This resort is an awesome resort, probably my most favorite for a wedding and I've done quite a few at all resorts on the island.

The beach is to die for........It's more widespread than the others, so very private. Under a palapa your neighbors can never eavesdrop on your conversation as they're quite a ways away as oppsed to the highrise area they will be able to do so.

I'm not saying that eavesdropping is the usual, what I'm really trying to say is that it's very private therefore very romantic.

Regards,

She is extremely prompt and is willing to help me with everything!!! I'm also using Lissy Lampe from Ceremonies and Celebrations and she has been great as well! I have tons of information on the resort, let me know if you are interested and want me to share what I have done so far!

I have not been to Aruba, but my family has and agrees that the Radisson is breathtaking!

I have contacted both the Radisson and Lissy Lampe. Lissy has been very prompt with everything. I was told by the Radisson that my request has been forwarded to Vicky, but I have not heard anything yet. I would appreciate any information that you have.

We are also looking into the Westin and Marriott as well. We are also planning a Nov 2009 wedding. What day is your wedding set for?

Feel free to pm me.

Thanks!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
