We leave in ten days for our Greek wedding part 1

Recommended Posts

Ive got to start by Thanking each and everyone of you for helping me to create the wedding of our dreams with so many ideas that our guests will be bowled over by.I will have to add more to my post later as i dont have everything to hand.Time is running out lol.

As a uk bride i stumbled upon this website whilst recovering from shoulder surgery.I was hooked from day one.I have borrowed stolen and even bought items from you girlies accross the pond and i thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your ideas.Im sure the other uk brides will agree we would not of been able to create such wonderful memories not only for ourselves but our guests as well.

I proposed to Paul (leap year) the new years eve before we had had a few to drink and id dismissed the idea of being married again as ive been married twice. He got quite emotional and afterwards i just thought if the shoe had been on the other foot id of doubted his commitment etc hence my proposal. There was no ring exchange just a huge bunch of balloons delivered to his work place with will you marry me 2010 written on them

Lets just say he was hugly embarrased.lol

After much umming and arring we chose Greece as i wanted all our family there

We will go to Hawaii one day

We booked Peligoni and following a visit in June it lived up to my expectations

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
