I was all good until yesterday...was slightly hungover from little party and too much wine....and then had Chinese and Sushi....thought I would be all good today but I had a wedding shower to go to (not mine) and there was yummy brunch food....now I'm home and baking an apple pie....I want ALL "bad" food out of the house...so...I'm PMSing and I think it's ok....as long as I get back to good tomnorrow (or definitely by Monday and just write the whole weekend off)

Hope everyone else is doing better than me :)

Yeah...the whole weekend was an eating frenzy...today is back to good :) I've got my Hard Boiled Eggs...bought soem turkey breast for lunch...and thinking chicken for dinner...

I was passing by a new place that is opening soon called Koko Fit Club...has anyone heard of it?  It seems kind of like a Curves type 30 minute work out...but more personal training based...if anyone knows anything about it...please share.  Thanx :)

I guess we'll have to wait for Chelsea to publish the official numbers to see who actually had a good week!  LOL  I ate nearly an entire half gallon of ice cream on Friday (to soothe and numb my hurting throat, of course!) and then ate terribly over the weekend because I was traveling to and from a wedding out-of-state.  With my gluten-free diet, it's hard to grab something to eat on the go so it's usually just some peanuts or cashews and a candy bar til I get home. blush2.gif

I've never heard of the Koko Fit Club but I just watched the video on the website (http://kokofitclub.com/) and it looks pretty cool.  Unfortunately there isn't one anywhere near me.  I'm terrible at working out and tried Curves years ago but didn't really like it so much.  I found it to be tailored more towards older people or those who are considerably overweight.

Week 4 Weigh-Ins!

I'm back! =]

Thank you all for sending in week four submissions! I know this is a little late and for anyone who was unaware... I had absolutely no internet access this weekend. Iâ€m back and the weekly update will be up soon. =] The weigh-ins are in and this weekâ€s weight loss percentages have been calculated. In alphabetical order…

Competing category:

CanadianSandy                     - 0.16%
Jkgirl83 (Katie)                      - 1.97%
Mrs.*J*2011 (Lea)                  - 0.26%
Msmarmar123 (Marla)            - 0.38%
Oryx (Renée)                        - 1.44%
SheriB                                  - 0.68%
Stachr (Stacey)
Teira1031                              + 0.73%
Tifany

Non-competing category:

Heartbeat (Michelle)
OceanWonderland (Leslie)       - 0.88%
Sunstarmoon (Chris)

Week threeâ€s MVP is Jkgirl83 (Katie) for losing -1.97% for the competing category!!! smile159.gif

Congratulations to everyone on your hard work. Remember, we are all here to support each other on our journey to a healthier lifestyle. Itâ€s time for week five! =] Great job, ladies! thewave.gif

On a side note, ladies, please remember to have your feet showing on your scale pics. This is out of fairness for all the ladies and applies to all contestants. Also, as a reminder for contest fairness, anyone who misses two weeks of weigh-ins without notifying me will have to be switched to the non-competing category. I completely understand things come up and with a busy life, we're bound to forget things, but to stay eligible for the ‘winâ€, please let me know when youâ€ll miss a weigh-in beforehand. Non-competing category players will still be just as involved as anyone else. Thanks and good luck! =]

Hi,

Came across this message re Koko FitClub in Canton. (Full disclosure- I work for Koko!)  It is a 30 minute workout, but not at all like Curves. It is real, progressive strength training, customized to each person-and it works. Every workout is different and figured out for you ahead of time. It's nice not to look at a weight floor and feel overwhelmed wondering "what to do today." There is a good video on the website kokofitclub.com. Hope this helps!

Thank you so much :)  I'm not sure when the location is actually opening...but I HATE HATE HATE regular gyms...so boring and not motivating for me at all....all I wind up doing (when I actually go) is walk on the treadmill..and that's a waste of money and time.

I entered my info on the website to get more info once the location actually opens....excited to learn more about it..

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
