Is getting married over Memorial Day weekend a good or bad idea? I'm getting a lot of mixed feedback.  At this point the cost of flights is the same!

I see it as a good thing because most people are off and they don't have to request for vacation. I am also getting married but for new years weekend and it actually worked out perfect for our guest because most people have the week off or a few days off that they can attend our wedding.

We actually got our flights on sale with Volaris for $200 round trip which is great for high season. You might want to check usually their sale's go on Tue- Thurs just enter the promotion code. They fly from LAX or Tijuana.

I was considering having mine Labor Day weekend so people could have that extra day off work, but I was told that it would just be too crowded and hectic and too much more expensive.

I been to Cabo before and I think it doesn't matter when u go it's expensive I see it more Americanize than Mazatlan, Ixtapa and Vallarta. In my opinion for Cabo I would do all inclusive.

i got married memorial day weekend and also go down to cabo alot that weekend for my anniversary...as long as people do not wait until the last minute to buy tickets and you have a group block you should be fine.

I was going to book memorial day weekend, but pushed it to the next weekend.  i didnt want to deal with "extra crowds" associated with holiday weekends. but booking this far in advance keeps the cost low for holiday weekends.most people are scheduling their week vacation around our wedding so we don't have a big problems with guests getting time off.  good luck!
