Cramming too much in??

I personally don't think my guests would be very happy with that. I think they would feel rushed and not relaxed at all. Now, if they choose to do this on their own, that's a different story.

yeah, I'd say take an informal poll from a few guests that would be honest with you and see how they respond.

personally, I would probably try to get out of it if Monica had something like that planned for us our first morning there. First of all, I'm terrified of heights, so sliding all over on ziplines (even though I have no doubt it's amazing!) would scare me to bits and I would not want to do it. Also, the first morning of a vacation is all about sleeping in, IMO! goodnight.gif

I have done that tour myself and the great thing about the Outdoor Adventure is that you will be back at your resort by 2 or 3pm which leaves you the whole day to totally relax anbnd have fun! I say do it... they don't make you do anything too active until you have to get on a mule (which isn't until approx 10am... by which stage your group will have woken up!!!!)

Have you heard about or done Vallarta Adventure's regular canopy tour?? That one leaves later in the day, but I just think the Outdoor Adventure sounds more fun.

Ha, Ha! It's TOTALLY optional, but we do have a lot of guests wanting to do it. My Dad, who acts SO macho, is terrified of heights. He really wants to go with everybody, but he is already super nervous about it. I keep telling him that he doesn't have to go! I'm afraid that he might have a heart attack up there!!

See, PEER PRESSURE! LOL I know I would totally get roped into doing this if everyone else did it (probably crying inside the whole way) ~ I'm such a sucker! smile105.gif

  • 2 weeks later...

I'd have to vote to find another tour or activity. I fly often and I know its hard on the body. When you arrive at such a beautiful place so relaxing I'd think that most would love to sit have a margarita and enjoy the view. I think its awesome to venture out. One thing is perhaps you include in a letter or email how many would enjoy that from there include that as the wedding activity for those who want that option. But for the most part, I always hear family and friends say, I can't wait to go lay out and soak up the view...with a drink in hand. smile159.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
