Sandals Antigua Brides??

Recommended Posts

Hi Sarah!

My fiancé and I are getting married at Sandals Grand Antigua in August.  I hope you don't mind answering a couple of questions for me about your experience.  I was wondering if you could provide me with some thoughts about your experience with the photographer and your hair/makeup???

I e-mailed you the brochure. I get that same message when I try to open files on this site. I thought it was just me. cheesy.gif I'm getting the bridal package that the spa offers. I think it includes a mani and pedi, trial run of hair and makeup the day before, and hair and makeup the day of the wedding. I was originally thinking that I would do hair and makeup myself, but I will probably be a little anxious the morning of the wedding, so I think that letting someone else take care of it will be less stressful as long as I know that they will do a good job. Having the trial run will give me confidence in how it will turn out.

Thanks Jessica!  I greatly appreciate you taking the time to e-mail me the brochure!  I didn't realize their were more options to the Beautiful Beginning floral package - that makes me much happier! :)  I feel so lost, I wasn't aware of the bridal spa package and am even more excited to hear I can have a hair and make-up trial before the actual day.

Hi there...

I'm happy to share my thoughts.  My best friend and I did my hair and makeup, but I know several people who were very happy with the service.  I did hear, though, that you will want to make an appointment for even earlier than you think you should as they run a little behind.

I liked the photographers very much.  They are very open to what you want.  This is important because they have pretty standard photos they take so let them know if you want anything different.  They took a ton of photos.  They are very expensive as I am sure you know.  I had several friends taking pictures also and I also had it videotaped which I recommend.

        Best Wishes,

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
