Puerto Vallarta airport transportation

Recommended Posts

We had a group of 22. Along with all of the taxi's there are larger vans waiting there to pick people up. We told them we had 22 people and needed 3 vans. They were ready for us in less than 5 minutes. It was so simple and costs about $20 each taxi (Our hotel was in the Marina so the ride was short).

Same thing for transport around town. Our hotel helped out out a lot. We all went in to town multiple times and just called 3 van taxi's to pick us up.

Well I found a couple different companies..one with a charter bus.  www.puertovallarttours.net/bus-airport-transfers-groups-htm

This only works for us now that we are having over 30 people come in around the same time on all different flights.  The price is $190 but it breaks down to between 7-9 dollars a person depending how many use it.

Nessa- I think they have vans too.

I have contacted:

info@superiortoursvallarta.com

I'm not sure what the quote is yet, but once they get back with me, I'll be sure to let you know.

I looked into the cost of getting everyone from the hotel to the Marina the day of the wedding and picking up everyone and taking back to airport (round-trip) rates.  I'll keep you posted.

Nessa- we already got the transport from las caletas.  It is 10 dollars a person.  I didnt think it was that bad so we went with that.  Let me know about the airport though!!

Chicago....Here is what I was told.

I had a tour today. Anyway, yes, it would be a pleasure to arrange this all for you. As for the prices; We can pick you up at the Marriott and bring you to the Villas, and have a 30/45 minutes max.  groceriestop at walmart or Mega, whichever you prefer (bucerias). If we pick you up at noon, you will arrive by that more or less at 1pm at the villa. The cost of this transfer will  be 95 US. The transfer will be in a comfortable, 10 passenger Van, which you will  need because of the luggage. As for the transfer for the way back to the airport, you will either need 2 Vans or one big bus (not sure if a bus can reach the property, I do not know the place, but will check it out) , as 13 people plus luggage do not fit in the Van.  The cost is the same: 190US.

Please let me know if you want to make a reservation, I only need a 50US deposit by paypal to hold you the Vans or the bus and the Van, and the balance can be paid cash at the first transfer.

Chicago.....

Who are you using for your trip to Las Caletas?  The quote I got seems a little high.  It averages out to about $14-15/pp.

We are staying at a private villa in Bucerias, but it's only 10 miles from the airport......I'm wondering if mine is more expensive b/c of the distance?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
