Affordable Accomodations?

I have stayed at both Siesta Suites and Mar de Cortez in downtown Cabo . Both are very reasonable and very clean. I am actually suggestions these to my friends on budgets

Hey Lisvital, thanks for the post.. We are throwing the idea around of paying for my parents to fly to Cabo. As of right now we are having some people starting to flake out on us, so if they don't end up going we'll spend a little extra money for them.

That's what I was afraid of too so I was going to include these hotels in the list of places to stay. They really are affordable. It's the flight to Cabo from the east coast that's going to be really expensive especially for the people bring families.

If you want REALLY affordable, three of our friends are staying at Cabo Inn Hotel. They got it for $55/night including taxes. You have to book directly through the hotel (just e-mail them). It doesn't show up as available on Hotels.com even though the hotel has availability.

Here's their claim to fame: Selected by Frommer's Travel Guide as the #1 economy hotel in all of Los Cabos. 22 rooms centrally located 2 blocks from the marina.

 

Shockingly, they get rave reviews on TripAdvisor, too. But for $55/night, I wouldn't be expecting very much.

 

Here are a few others that the travel agent recommended:

Los Patios for $102/night for two queens (price includes service charge and taxes). Small hotel, not on beach, farther from town. She called it "cute" and "clean". About 5 minute drive to our villa. We might actually stay here.

The Bungalows: small bed and breakfast, $115-$135/night (includes gourmet breakfast). Call 1-888-424-CABO to book directly. In downtown cabo.

i would try norman diego's mexican inn or los milagros, both of which are under $100 and really cute. check them out on tripadvisor, they are well rated. if they want to pay a bit more, like $150, my favorite place in the bungalows. these are all much more like a bed and breakfast than a resort but they are awesome

You have stayed at The Bungalows! Great. I have talked my inlaws into staying there and we are thinking of going there after everryone is gone.

When you have a chance can you tell me more about it?
