Color matching with the Dress and Ties for Wedding Party

Recommended Posts

I found my bridesmaids dresses at Laura on the clearance rack and they are beautiful. I just don't know now what color of tie for the Fiance & Best Man to wear. Here is the Bridesmaid Dress:

They have so many great colors in the dress I just can't decide on what color of tie. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

The guys are wearing full black suits for the wedding.

They are great, very light weight. Both are very happy on what they chose. They will also have a white french cuff shirt. As requested by the FH!!!!

Thanks Ladies!!!!

It looks like there is a really bright pink or pinky red in there.  That would be pretty and festive for a wedding in Mexico.  It would also stand out well with the dark suite and white shirt.

Very pretty dresses by the way.  I'm sure your BMs will be happy with those.

I would pick up that yellow/orangy color. I think that would make the black pop. Don't think you could go wrong either way since the suits are such a neutral color. It should be a stand out piece either way. Good luck deciding.

BTW, that IS a beautiful dress AND on the clearance rack? What more can a girl ask for :)

I prefer the orangy colour but because there is only a small section on the dress thats orange I wonder if that will be noticed? You would definately notice the pink though but I personally don't like a pink tie. Do you have a colour scheme?x

We don't really have a color scheme, we are going to do the decor in a turquoise, as thats the only color the resort has other then a hot pink(which I'm not to fond of a Pink wedding scheme) and silver. It somewhat matches the dresses but I'm not to worried about matching as thats not the most important thing to me. As long as everything looks great. Still looking for some flower ideas though. I am thinking Birds of Paradise would look good with those dresses, but not sure if I can find those in PV in November.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
