Ring Bearer ring holder

Recommended Posts

Any creative ideas out there for ways to carry the rings other than the traditional pillow?

You could put them in a large sea shell.  but honestly I'd be worried if they weren't tied onto something.

We put them inside a shell that we filled with Maui sand and a fake orchid. We loved the way it turned out and received a lot of compliments. This is the shell we used that my MIL found at Yankee Candle:

If you want a unique ring holder you have to check out this website!  This lady makes ring bearer bowls which are so cute.  After your wedding you can put it by your night stand or sink and it can be still be a ring holder.  I love the idea of the same item used in my wedding being useful for years later.

She also does custom work, so you can have one made just for you with your names and wedding date.

My ring bearers will be 1.5 and 2 years old so i don't want to get them to carry any shells or pillows because i'll be lucky if i get them up the isle anyways! lol..  So i bought 2 teddy bears and am going to sew little silk vests and bow ties for them, put ribbon on thier paws and tie a ring to each of them! :)  I'll post pictures when done!!

My ring bearer will be carrying this:

I'll probably get a different ribbon for it, but this is my "something borrowed" passed down to me from one of my close friends who was married last year. bride.gif  She also gave me a second one which says the same things in Latin so I may just nest the two for effect (she had 2 ring bearers since her hubby had 2 adorable nephews).
