I am not taking a photographer from Atlanta. Many of the photographers that sent info to me from the DR were trained in the US but charge DR pesos so they are much cheaper for the same quality (if not better)

Are any of you bringing a photographer from Atlanta to your destination wedding?  I'm still torn on what to do and have no leads.

After looking for a budoir photographer in Atlanta (and starting this thread), I ended up selecting Lavish Budoir out of Valdosta, Ga. She was more expensive than some of the others I looked at but well worth every penny. I recently received my proofs and they are amazing!I really wanted something very classy and Lavish delivered. I had her come up to Atlanta and I paid for a hotel room for the shoot. She was fun to work with and also very responsive in terms of setting up the shoot and providing my proofs soon after. I would highly recommend Lavish!

Thank you very much for this link, www.caycecallawayboudoir.com . I recently had my boudoir session done. It went really well, and the the pictures came back great! If anyone is looking for some one to do boudoir pictures I highly recommend Cayce. Now to the hard part narrowing down the ones to print.

So I might have to do it locally. Let me know if you can recommend anyone!  Thanks! LM
I don't know if they do budoir shots, but a close friend of my FI does photography here in ATL and does AMAZING work. I would totally have booked her if I were doing my wedding here  rather than a destination. She's super nice & laid back... Once Like a Spark Photography Hope this helps! Its good to see other Atlanta brides on here :-)
Will have to chek this out

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
