Hi all,

 

Do they do Sunday weddings at any of the Sandals resorts in Jamaica? 

 

Also, do you have to walk down the "aisle" and have a first dance...?  It will just be us, so I would feel kind of weird doing these traditional wedding things, you know?

I can't answer the question about weddings on Sundays, but I do know that you don't have to walk down the aisle or do a first dance, etc....your wedding can be as formal/casual/big/small as you want it to be! That's part of the beauty of having a DW - no one really *expects* anything and you have the freedom to do what you want :)

We're getting married on a Sunday at Sandals Royal Caribbean.  As far as I know, the only days they don't do weddings are holidays (we tried for New Years Day but had to push to Jan 2.)

 

As for the traditional stuff, you can just have the ceremony and call it a day.  You don't have to do anything after you sign the marriage certificate/license thingy and say I do!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
