You couldnt have said it better. For those of you allready married you know this is all to true and for those of us still planning our weddings.....try and keep this in mind, it seems to happen to every single bride on here.

like everyone here, I totally feel your pain ... you really don't need this additional stress so close to your wedding ... I would love to have my closest friends in my wedding party but I chose people in my immediate family as maids ... still, it doesn't guarantee that they won't bail on me but I think that in my case, I have more chances of friends bailing on me than the immediate family ...

I am also hearing from guests "of course I will come ... I will not miss it for the world" ... blablabla ... and this is coming from people that I know right now are not financially stable .. since we are 8 months away, I just let them talk but I am not keeping my hopes up ... we will see when the time comes for them to put money where their mouths are ...

Any way it goes, try to think of it that way: this whole wedding is truly only about the two of you and that's the only thing that should really matter ... don't let what I call "external factors" take you away from enjoying YOUR day with your fiance ...

good luck !!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
