My baby kitten Abby!

I haven't done much in terms of wedding planning this week so I don't have much to report on that front. I have been busy running and studying for my Securities Exam before I start my Business Analysis program in May. I never quite realized how much harder it is to go to school and work 50+ hrs a week....boooo!

Anyways, I am killing off some time before my meeting and I wanted to post a few pics of my kitten Abby. She's not so little anymore, but her personality hasn't changed. She is sort of a cross between a stuffed animal and a dog. She follows me around the house and always wants to be snuggled. She just loves to be held and to flop over in my arms...weird I know. I have 2 other cats and had 3 dogs and I can't remember any of them ever being this snuggly.

this was taken the day that we adopted her...2 months before one of my dog's Celtic passed away from a tumor in his heart and I'd just found out that my puppy Max had been diagnosed with cancer of the lymphnodes so I was super sad... Michael wanted to get me a kitten to try and cheer me up. (two weeks later Max passed away and I was definatley glad to have Abby around)...ugh it makes me want to cry still when I think about it...they were my best friends and now 6+ months later I still miss them alot.

Your cats are so cute! We have 2 cats and a dog, and I don't know what I'd do without them. I can so understand why they say that pets are good for your health, because whenever I'm tired or had a bad day, somehow they just seem to make it all better. Losing a pet is so hard though, and I can imagine it would help so much having had a new kitten around when you were dealing with that.

On that note, now you've made me want to post pics of my little sweeties!

I can't wait to see them! :) I love animals! When I first moved in with Michael he was living with a roommate and they didn't have pets. I had to leave my cat Bailey and my dogs at home with my parents because I didn't know for how long I would stay in Vancouver and felt bad putting any of them on a plane for 5 hrs sad.gif We didn't get Minggis until we moved into our own place 7 months later, and I found myself being much more irritable without a pet. Its just so nice to have someone there when Michael is away, or in the morning when I wake up.

lol thanks :) I originally bought it for Minggis but he hated it! He would growl and hiss at it...ugh it was terrible. But she loved it right from the very start, maybe because its girly and she's a girl. Either way now the boy kitten loves it too, its funny when they're both on there snugglig together.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
