Natalie's incredible TTD slideshow has inspired tons of questions! I'm wondering what you do with regards to hair and makeup if you do it the morning after? Do you just get up and go? Sleep on it? Attempt your own? Get the professionals back?

I'm having Suzanne Morel do my wedding hair and makeup because I'm just not capable of doing this myself. But I don't want to go through it all over again in the morning.

Everyone who has done this so far and shared their slideshow looks absolutely gorgeous...share your secrets?

Is it just the "glow" from your wedding night...LOL!

sorry I'm always answering first LOL

I had so much hairspray in my hair the next morning (we met with our photographer at 9am) so I had to take a shower and put on my own makeup...though I think I still had eye liner on from the day b4....

I dont think you would want anything to elaborate...the more au natural look I'm assuming would be prefered. Myself I would, of course, use make up (because I never go without) but I would use make up with a "day" look with WATERPROOF mascara. Could you imagine a big wave....then black streaks?

If you didn't totally get submerged in the water like some of the girls have done and stayed rather on the shore/shoreline, a really smokey eye would be sexy. It would look like a I just woke up and rolled around on the beach with my sexy man. I think that would be hot.

Both looks are totally obtainable and you can do it yourself. Very easily!

I am lucky enough to be great friends with my hairstylist (she was one of my bridesmaids!). So, she told me to sleep in my hair (it was up), then she got up at 6, came to our room, took my hair out, and put a few loose curls in it. I'm going to post my TTD pix in a few minutes in a new thread.

I did my own hair & makeup for my TTD session. I did a less formal hairstyle than my wedding (which had been done by the resort), and pretty much the same makeup as the wedding. I liked the overall look...my pics are in my sig below.

Great question ! I was just asking myself the same thing ! ! !

I will then just bring a waterproof mascara and a lip gloss...hopefully my "morning eyes" will not show on the pictures !

I would also like to have a TTD session around 7am ... before most of the guest get up and walk on the beach ...including my in-laws + parents !

I want to surprise them with a TTD session !

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
