RIU Negril - Wedding Pictures

beautiful. looks like you all had a great time. My wedding will be about the size of your daughters (15 total including us and two kids) so it was good to see a wedding that size makes me feel good and know that we will still have a great time.

Hello Sax Lady:

I  just asked my daughter would she have it any other way and she said not at all.  It was very intimate and peaceful.  You really felt the love there.  I wish you the best!

Hi There,

Thank you so much for the pictures and information. cheesy.gif

Everything looked awesome!

We am looking at a destination wedding in April of next year and we are looking at the Riu Negril.

The one thing I was wondering is whether Riu offers photography packages...

If you do not mind, could you please tell me how much the intimate wedding package through SunGold is?

Thanks a lot!

Thank you very much for the information, i loved your dather's wedding pic. We are getting married in march at Riu> i found out after that everything has a price but they not clear up front. I am kind afraid when i get get cause i dont know what they provide and what i need to bring.

They are include the cake? how was it? too simple? do i need to get a dif cake? How much was the pic and hpw long your dather had him? i got some prices and they are 3 times more than Canada.

Thank you so much for everything. Did she have a party after or disco? Sorry for the many questions but i dont want to many suprises on my wedding day.

I'm getting married at the Tropical Bay resort, but they have a photographer on site.  The prices are high for what you get, but I've also noticed local photographers are very expensive.  on the $2000+ range.  I am opting for taking a local photographer here along with me, and she has an assistant coming along at no additional fee.  I will pay her travel costs and a small fee for her time (again just for the one photographer).  Overall this is the best rate because I get them for so much more than I would with anyone in Jamaica.  She will be doing our engagement photos, rehearsal/welcome dinner, ceremony, reception, trash the dress, and at home reception.  Look into this before deciding on someone from the resort!

we just returned from our wedding at the RIU Negril. Though not the same as the Tropical Bay, I suspect the wedding planning is similar. we opted to bring our own photographer from canada, as the prices in negril really were ridiculous. I'm really happy we did. We are able to meet with her here and go over everything, as well as have easy access to our photos.

Bride 2013 - there are a few fees not included - depending on the package you've selected. We chose the free package - which I only includes 10 guests. We had to pay $10.50 US for each additional guest we had. This includes a chair for them at the ceremony, a glass of champagne and cake. Other than that - you are given a choice of adding onto your free package from the a la carte items... Let me know if you have any other questions, I know what it's like not really knowing what to expect - but the RIU honestly did a fabulous job with our wedding day!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
