Hello Everyone!

Coming to get married in the Riviera Maya is great, but deciding on doing a Trash the Dress is even better!

At Blue Lens Caribe we love Trash the Dress Session and we offer you the possibility to have your pictures on the beach, in a cenote or even both!

Just have a look at our last Trash the Dress in a cenote on our blog http://bluelenscaribe.com/blc/photo-gallery/trash-the-dress/rebecca-and-jim-cenote-trash-the-dress/

I thought I had gotten a great deal on my dress by buying it at Macy's online. What I didn't realize is that alterations would cot as much as the dress. (around $250 each). So remember it is not always the cost of the dress, but if you need to have the TTD altered, it can get expensive, too. I plan on wearing my real dress for the TTD, because that's the name of the game. I also knew before buying I had this intent, so chose not to spend thousands on the dress.

I think the coming out cleaner depends on the material. I am having my alterations done at a local dry cleaners and they showed me a dress that was completely yellowed in the bottom 18 inches, even after attempting to clean it twice. They said it's not just the water, but the gunk in the sand that can stain the material. I didn't ask, but maybe it was LA beaches that damaged the dress. This was someone's reception dress, very silky and slinky. My dress actually says NOT to dry clean it, only spot clean with water and detergent. The cleaners said it has to do with the appliques, not the dress itself. So I guess my crystals might come off during the TTD.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
