Thanks for the tips! I'd thought about sephora but it might be more than I want to spend on just makeup...Though probably worth it if it means not photoshopping a streaky black face! Because I definitely don't want to go makeup-less even for the TTD, I'd rather not look 16 in my wedding dress :P I'll try the gosh eyeliner first, shoppers is so much closer anyway.

Hmmm I wear chanel water proof mascerra on a regular day (I very rarely wear make up) and then they have a really good eye make up remover. Sorry wrong gal to ask. Curious about this.. also if some of the ladies can weigh in on jewellery for TTD - I just got some earings I thought I could use, but now I wonder if doing blingy stuff would be too much... thanks!

I just did my TTD in MX last week and I was worried about m/u for that day too.  I wore MUFE HD foundation, BB gel eyeliner, falsies and clinique lash power mascara.  But my face didn't really get wet so I didn't really  have to worry about it...Here's how mine turned out and I loved it!  (sorry so many pics but I love our ttd pics!)

I am obsessed with Benefits lipstains. They have a red one and a pink one... both can be darker or lighter depending on how much you put on, and you can put gloss over top of them once they dry. They can also be used for cheek stain, but I have only used them on my lips.

You can get it at Shoppers or Sephora!

I just went to sephora the other day and the lady showed me a product by hour glass its a waterproof face primer. I bought it and it works amazing! It totally helps keep your foundation and everything on in water (i tried it by dipping my face in water). Also you can use it under your eyeshadow to make your eyeshadow waterproof. Its expensive like $60 for the bottle but I think its worth it. The lady also said it will help keep your makeup on when you're sweating which will probably be really good for the wedding day. Just wanted to share this product!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
