Suggested Maya Riviera All Inclusives

Recommended Posts

My fiancee and I would like to get married next June in the Maya Riviera. We have a site visit next month and are staying at the Grand Princess. We'd like to see some of the wedding options at GP, but are also looking at visiting three other potential locations. Any one have suggestions for a great all inclusive with semi private beach. (We're only inviting immediate family, so we're looking for something that's a little more intimate.) We have a little ringer bearer, so must be family friendly.

I recommend looking at the Dreams resorts online - there are 4 locations in that area: Cancun, "Riviera Maya", Puerto Aventuras (south of Playa del Carmen) and Tulum. Each of the resorts offers either a beach ceremony or a non-beach location (either a gazebo or a chapel). All Dreams resorts are family friendly and they are relatively budget friendly too. Each of the 4 Dreams resorts are less than $1000 per person for 5 nights including a flight from North Carolina (not direct) when looking on Expedia. In fact, Dreams Puerto Aventuras (which I will likely choose once the date is close enough to book) was ~$750 pp for 5 nights.

However, one of the best things about these resorts is that the website has a ton of wedding package information posted, so you should be able to make a quick yes/no decision prior to a visit or before talking to anyone at the resort.

Good luck. Courtney

Check out my website on the grand princess the link is in my siggy! Let me know how your stay is next month!

I was also looking into the Gran Porto Real/Royal which is IN Playa del Carmen SUPER convient to everything

I also looked into Occidental Xcaret Resort which is south of the area of Playacar

And Sandos which is down there as well.

I decided on the Princess based on price and it seemed to have good food, service, and rooms. The wedding itself we really didn't care where or how as long as we were getting married. wink.gif

I have lots of wedding stuff these resorts so just PM me if you need anything or have any questions

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
