Help! What do you think about my realtouch bouquet?

Recommended Posts

Hi

I asked for these flowers without the orchids (because I do not like orchids)

I got them today and I am a disappointed because the hibiscus is more golden yellow than bright orange as in the picture.

Am I just being bridezilla, what should I do? I do not have enough time to send them back because we are leaving Aug. 2, and I do not even know if they would redo them. I have considered buying flower paint and painting them a deeper orange. I don't know if I should take out all the hibiscus and ask her to send me new ones?

I am so sad I just want to cry and cry. They are from plumeriasflowerboutique and her flowers are beautiful and she did an awesome job so I don't want to insult her because she is so nice. Please let me know what I should do or they are okay and I should just stop stressing.

THANKS!!!

wow I can see why you'd be disapointed with the final product, it barely looks like the first photo, it actually looks like a washed out version of the first photo, not even remotely as vibrant!

Having said that, I still think it's a very pretty bouquet,, I'm not sure if I would spray paint it, or if I would just pick up a couple of extra flowers and sneak them into the bouquet!

Either way I'd complain, have a hissy, whichever, I'd make sure that the company knew my displeasure!

GOOD LUCK!

Definitely not being a bridezilla! I would be disappointed too! That bouquet doesn't look like the one in the picture, and you have every right to demand something be done about it. The flowers *are* nice, but they are not the bright colors you wanted and expected. It's your special day, and you deserve to get what you asked for and paid for!

You're definitely not being a bridezilla about this, they don't look as bright and vibrant as the picture. Really sorry to hear about this - maybe you can ask the vendor to rush you some replacement flowers to put in and kick it up notch? If not, the bouquet is really pretty, just not what you asked for unfortunately sad.gif Good luck!

Ok, so it really doesn't look like the original photo but that also has to do with the way that the pictures were taken. The white balance setting on the two cameras is completely differently, so it makes it look like it's even more different. Regardless though, if you're not happy with it, let the seller know! I don't think that it's a bridezilla thing, a bouquet is really important!

You are not being a bridezilla at all!!! I would definitely contact the seller and let her know how different it looks from the original that you wanted and how disappointed you are. I would ask her to rush you another bouquet with the colors that you wanted. This is your wedding and you should be completely happy with your flowers. After all, they will be in all your pictures. It doesn't hurt to ask her to send another boquet. Good Luck!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
