Does anyone have any recommendation of a Fishing Charter Company in the RM area that they have actually used?

 

I found a bunch online ...but I am looking for some real recommendations.

My husband went through Aqua World, but they nobody on the boat caught a darn thing and they were sea sick the whole time. He goes deep sea fishing all the time, like 24 hour trips and he's never been sick before. Him and all his friends that went didn't have a very good time either, they said they were basically trolling (sp) the whole time.

 

Hope you have better luck then they did!

My FI is getting a charter for him, his GM and both our fathers for the morning of the wedding.  I have been looking around to get some prices for our budgeting, and these are the companies we found so far:  (of course I don't know anything about the companies, so I would love to hear some feedback as well)

I have not booked the trip yet, but I am going to do this in December. I have not found anyone that has actually used a charter yet, so I am going to wing it. I contacted Captain' Ricks and they got back to me that day and answered all my questions. They seemed very nice, ontop of things and quick to respond. Which is great because I HATE waiting for my Wedding Coordinator to get back to me. Below is his email.

 

Note, If you book in Decemeber or before 2011, He says you might get better prices. I dunno!

The Aventura Spa Palace is five minutes from our office and marina.
 

We have shared trips on one of our 31" to 35" boats.  The cost is $95.00 US per  person for a half day and $190.00 US for a full day.  We put a maximum of six anglers on the boat. 
 

We have private charters on one of our 31" to 35" boats.  The cost is $390.00 US for a half day,  $560.00 US for a three quarter day, and $690.00 US for a full day.  You can take up to 8 people on these boats.
 

We have private charters on one of our 38" boats.  The cost is $475.00 US for half a day, $725.00 US for a three quarter day, and $850.00 US for a full day.  These boats will  hold up to 10 people. 
 

We have private charters on our 46" 6 boat.  The cost is $575.00 US for half a day,  $775.00 US for a three quarter day, and $950.00 US for a full day.  This boat will hold up to 12 people.
 

Finally, we have private charters on our 48" boat.  The cost is $650.00 US for half a day, $825.00 US for a three quarter day, and $1,050.00 US for a full day.  This boat will hold up to 12 people.
 

All trips include soft drinks, water and a cooler full of ice as well as all the bait and fishing equipment you will need.  On a full day trip you also get lunch.  If you want beer or munchies you can bring your own or purchase it at the store near our office.  Fishing licenses and fees are also included.
 

Half day trips go out from 9:00 to 1:00 or 1:30 to 5:30.  Three quarter day trips go out from 7:00 to 1:00.  Full day trips go out from 9:00 to 5:00.  To make a reservation you need to pick a date, time and type of trip.   Then e-mail me back or call our office at 011-52-984-873-5195 or from the US at our toll free number 888-449-3562 with a credit card number to hold the trip.  The office hours are 8:00 to 7:00 central time.  The address of our encrypted page for making a reservation is https://www.caribbeansol.com/forms/ricks.htm  The deposit is $100.00 but is not charged to your account until the day of the trip.  On that day you can pay in cash, traveler?s checks or by credit card.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
