I can't seem to find any info on getting married at Barcelo Maya Beach, only lots on the palace. I only have a quote for the Beach. Can someone help me find some Barcelo Maya Beach brides? I have only found one very small thread. Am I not looking in the right place? Please help!! Thank you!

The wedding coordinators at the beach and the palace are the same and a lot of the wedding information is the same regardless of which barcelo hotel you stay at. So I think the thread that includes a lot of info about the palace is also relevant to those staying at the other hotels within the barcelo resort... hence the combined thread...

Hi there!

 

For our wedding we are staying at the Barcelo Maya Colonial. I haven't found any other threads besides the Palace one either. The Palace thread is very helpful though, even if you are not staying there. The ceremony and reception locations are the same no matter what part of the resort you are staying at. Just keep in mind if you are not staying at the Palace you will have to pay extra for the Palace locations - but they are available to you! It's also the same menu options, flowers, etc. So the Barcelo Maya Palace thread is actually helpful to all Barcelo brides!

I am not sure if you still need to find some more information on the Colonial.  My husband and I got married there December 2009....and I would recommend that resort 100%.  The wedding was beautiful...and our 40 guests all loved the resort...some are going back again this year.

 

I recently discovered this website...unfortunately, I did not know about bestdestinationwedding.com before our wedding.  However, I got most of my Barcelo information from http://www.unofficial-barcelo-maya.com/site/node/5.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
