Hey!! I know... it's so exciting!  I can't believe it's already 5 months away the next 5 months i have a feeling are going to fly by! but that's ok i'm really looking forward to this.

We have had our package booked pretty much since January we went with the unforgettable package (the middle priced one) We booked ours before they made some changes to their packages so ours is a little different that the one that is currently posted on their website.  We are still deciding on whether or not we want an arch and if so which one.  We decided against the centerpieces that the resort offers 1) they aren't really that nice 2) they are $65 each!  We are still in the process of buying stuff for our centerpieces but we got some really cool Lanterns and candleholders at Pier 1.

We decided on the surf and turf for our reception dinner..... I've talked to a couple other brides and that's what they chose and said everyone was very happy with that.  We also chose the mexican appetizers mainly because some of the other choices sound a little iffy wink.gif Other than that.... still deciding on flowers but I'm still on the search for bridesmaids dresses!!

We'll be down there from the 9th until the 14th... Hope to see you there!!! thewave.gif

We ended up going with the Once in a Lifetime package.

Brandeemdavis, we are also picking out flowers right now, it looks like a lot of people go with the calilliy, which is what I really like too.  Cait's pics were so beautiful.

Did you decide on a time for your ceremony?  are you having it on the beach?  I thought I wanted it at the sunset but now I'm thinking maybe we should go a little earlier.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
