Hola,

Welcome to the forum and above all, congratulations for your engagement!

Have you thought of the Riviera Maya? One of the best things about Riviera Maya is the fact that you can get everything you dream, and it goes from the simplest things, up to the most elaborated... I am certain that you would love it.

To check out various resorts, a good place to go is the hotel review section on tripadvisor.com and the venue reviews here.  TA will not offer many wedding reviews, but the list is probably more extensive and you can come back here to learn more about wedding experiences. I would suggest using both resources. 

Your wedding is going to be full of magic and this website will help you a lot!

Welcome to this great board!!!  I was like you...I knew I was going to have a destination wedding in the Caribbean but I didn't know exactly where yet.  I narrowed it down to a few different brands of resorts and then I had FI pick the one he liked the best.  So we are set for Aventura Spa in the Riviera Maya.  Check out Palace Resorts.  They have so many great hotels in Mexico and have a great promo right now.  Good Luck deciding.

That's great news! I'm not sure if you're looking into someone in the Mayan, or if you're planning on bringing in a photographer, but if you are bringing someone in, I HIGHLY recommend Floataway Studios. My wedding is July 13, 2011 at Dreams Los Cabos and I've booked with them (photo and video). They are based out of LA and are available for travel worldwide, at very reasonable costs (their packages are also very reasonable). www.floatawaystudios.com

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
