@Kristina

you can always make changes in what package you decide, closer to your wedding i think. I would just put deposit for the medium package and this way you will have your date booked..

I just don't have a clear idea in my head of how many hours we will need.

Yinette at Ocean Blue said the only extra charge for outside photographers is the $50 per person day pass.

We'll be there next May, so I have plenty of time to look through *****'s new photos and get lots of inspiration. :) I'm so glad you had such a great experience with her!!

I'm looking at using her as well! I think the reason not many people have used her is because she used to be reallly expensive..more expensive then ***** Nova (love her work but over $3000 for pictures is a bit much for me!)..I believe Karina may have just lowered her prices because I remember looking on her website before and thinking she was too much..but now not so bad!

My fiance and I went to Punta Cana for a vacation in March.  We decided to do our engagement pictures while we were there.  We used ***** Nova and she was fantastic!  She is an amazing photographer and we are actually looking in to going back to Punta Cana for our wedding and using her as our wedding photographer as well!  I would highly recommend using her for wedding or engagement pictures!  Her prices are extremly reasonable for the quality of work and amount of pictures you will get!

My husband and I just got married at the Bavaro Princess on May 2, 2012 and had a magnificent experience.  We had to use the on site photographer 'photoshop caribe' and we couldn't be happier. It rained on our wedding day and although we were able to proceed with our outdoor ceremony it poured right after. We decided to continue pics the following day and they were very accommodating. We have consistently gotten compliments and are very pleased that we used them. They were included in our wedding package, but we did upgrade and paid $500 additional and every penny was worth it.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
