Hey, just found this board,I am originally from Ontario but have lived in Alberta for the last 6 years. I got engaged over the Christmas break and am starting to look at resorts in the Mayan! I am really liking the Dreams Riviera Cancun.

Some of us are meeting at the airport, and some are meeting the night before at the hotel. Most are being given the night before at the hotel... simply to even out the packing! I think they will not be expecting anything, so it will all be good! I hope they are surprised!

 

The only thing with the airport is then they have to carry it on if they have already checked their bags... Which may be a problem if they already have a carry on. Unless you meet them right at the entrance to do the giving? That would work. What a way to get it all started!

Peach makes a good point about if people already have a carryon (which they likely will). I guess the way around that would be if you gave them the heads up before hand or meet before the departure and give them to guests at a little get together or something.

 

We are bringing everything down as most of our guests are flying from other gateways.

 

In the end, it is whatever works best for you.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
