Hi Everyone,

So I am a Canadian newbie! Will be getting married in Varadero, Cuba in exactly 3 months. Thus far, we have the resort booked and 32 guests confirmed. I must find a dress and work on some other details! I know, a bit last minute but we've had a baby in the last several months and so she occupies quite a bit of my time these days.

Are there any other brides who have gotten married (or will be getting married) in Varadero in early Feb....i'm interested in getting some feedback on the weather. We know its a bit risky but still interested in your views!

Thx

The only catch is that they don't ship to Canada so you can either have them sent to a UPS store at your nearest US border crossing (for example I am a 40 min. drive from Augdensburg NY so I use the address of that UPS store and go pick it up when my order arrives, it costs like 5 bucks) or if you have some American friend who can receive them for you and arrange to get them the rest of the way privately. Those are really high quality real touch flowers, if you want some fake and cheap ones believe it or not I saw some at Dollarama once.

when did you see them last?

Hi Julianna!

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding AND your newborn! Since you're getting married in Cuba, I thought you might be interested in my wedding photographer's recent adventure (through photos) of a shoot they just did for a recently married couple! They have some of their own personal adventure mixed in there but there are some amazing images! Congratulations and best of luck!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
