Thanks for the tips! We are going with grey but my FI will need some other nice pants while we are down there. I think i;m going to buy them and hide them in a closet; otherwise, he'd wear them now and wreck them by then I'm sure. Haha.

The guys say they fit pretty well and for that price it really doesn't matter if they only wear them once. Old Navy also has some great stuff in at the moment if anyone needs some alternatives.

Aston Station Bridal, they were having a Rivini trunk show. Being my first official "dress day" I had no idea what to expect. Noone asked me what my budget was so I was trying desperately to peek for prices, couldn't find them of course. So of course I fell in love with the $6000 one after trying it on. NOT in my budget. But I found 2 strong contenders, one being an absolutely adorable short dress. I'd never considered a short dress, but I'm happy that I have a much better idea of what I look good in now.

well, my FI isn't the most petite person! He's on the short side - 5'6 and just shy of 200 lbs. He did buy a size up in pants, but there were other sizes bigger. It's worth at least checking out. When I was searching online, many places had light weight wool, which I wasn't keen on. It saved us a trip across the border.

How would you describe the fit? My FI and 3 of his GMs are built like linebackers! LOL. I've looked around for linen suits and have had ZERO luck.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
