Haha, I love that your Dad used his "outside voice" to get things under control Good for him!

Other than that, glad your wedding was a success and you got the earlier time slot on your wedding day!!! CONGRATS! :)

We had 24 people attend our wedding in Las Caletas, Mexico on May 24th, 2009!

We all stayed at The Marriott in P.V., and Honeymooned at The Royal Plantation in Ochos Rios, Jamaica!

Erynn~ Thanks for the review. It is good to hear from another Riu Cabo bride! I am so glad that you enjoyed your wedding in Cabo. I am getting married there in December.

Can't wait to see pictures! We love pictures!

Also the way it is set up is that there is a little corner at the end of the terrace closest to your party that they leave empty.
Sorry to be a pest - did you reserve the terrace and pay the $500.00 dollars and they still put other diners out there? THanks for all the input --- helps so much in the planning process...

No we didn't pay the extra $$$. We had a group of about thirty and the set up the table into two rows of fourteen. So we were all facing each other---you didn't even notice that other people were there. The way they have it set up is that you walk through the doors onto the terrace and the entire left side is all your wedding group and a small dance floor and to the right is about maybe six tables of four (people you don't know). It is a fairly small restaurant set off to the side of the resort (compared to the steakhouse-large and very central) and so there aren't many people around. Hope that helps!

THe 500 is for a private reception, which means it is closed to the public and only your wedding guests will be allowed out on the terrace
