We are getting married 11~11~11 at EDR also! We love it! Have stayed there 3 times! I have met alot of wedding couples and they all seemed very happy with everything. It is absolutely beautiful and the staff is wounderful! 

Let me know if you have any questions....My WC is Carolina. I definetly suggest staying in a Casita, Fabulous!!

Hello ladies!

 

Just joined yesterday and was happy to find this website!

My fiance and I are struggling with resorts, we like the Puerto Aventuras location but Dreams is too expensive and I'm not crazy about the wedding set-up at the Catalonia.

We're running out of time because I want to get my invites sent out!

 

Any advice or recommendations??

Gran Caribe Real in Cancun is beautiful, and has great prices!! Definitely worth checking out, and depending on dates you want.

I am a bride in November 2011!!!! Unfortunately haven't picked a resort yet!!! My TA recommended me waiting til March because she feels there will be better deals and promotions then. So, I am waiting to see about prices for my guests in March. But I am still excited nonetheless!! I have a few in mind, so I guess we'll see!!

Did you book your photographer yet? I am soooo indecisive about using Funever for the photos! From their work I've seen (not on their website or what the resort gives you, but actual people who have used them and put their pics up on facebook or flicker) they seem like just anyone with a camera taking pics.  When/wehere is your ceremony/reception that day? I'm in the chapel at 3pm, and tradewinds beach reception at 6 or 7!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
